The Famous Ballywalter Fair Day returns on Friday 19th July 2019. The small village of Ballywalter on the east coast of the beautiful Ards Peninsula is home to the Ballywalter Fair day.The fair day goes back to the 1940s but for some years it lapsed but fortunately it was reinstated in the 80s by some local business men. Now the fair day is one of the largest fairs in NORTHERN IRELAND and is always held around the July holidays, when this small fishing village bursts into life with thousands of visitors from all over Ireland come to the Fair Day. The Fair attracts traders from as far away as Scotland, England and the South of Ireland. The event is supported by the local council ARDS BOROUGH COUNCIL and is managed by a local business man with over 30 years experience in market promotion. There is something for everyone at the Fair Day from the young to the older generation who enjoy meeting old friends and a bit of a chat. So make it a date and don't be late for the BALLYWALTER FAIR!
